Designing profitable websites is easy when you follow a formula.

Just like sticking to the tried and tested recipe for your mothers milk tart, you need only know that as long as you use some basic but effective strategies your website will be on the first page and your web based business will be profitable.

This very short post is just to tell you that this website will be set up using some very exact settings, and I will be able to prove that those settings work very effectively.

I am happy and equally sad to announce the arrival of Website Medic Two

I have had this website up and running for approximately a year, and while I have invested over 60 complete days of effort into that old website, I had no choice but to come here and wipe out the old website.

When I was developing this website, I had made the decision to use a combined series on small mini-sites as that way each section or service that I offered as website Medic could stand on its own as what would appear to be a separate website.

However at the same time, unknown to me, Google was busy running out a very big algorithm change, later to be called the Panda update.

This update was necessary, I would even agree, but it sent at least 20 of my websites tumbling off the top pages in the search results.

That is not a good thing but if the entire point of having a website online is to be found by people searching for your product or services, then I knew that I would have to change how I market online.

I have got rid of at least 40 websites since that big change – and for a very good reason.

One of the biggest things that was affected by that change is that WordPress websites gained a massive leap over other more static websites, and the next thing was that Google had started to rank websites by the amount of activity on that website.

So this meant that I would have needed to go and add a page or post onto 100 websites every two days for those website to keep their positions high in the search engine results pages.

It is impossible, unless I pay people to do that for me.

So the removal of at least 60 days of work from this domain and this new WordPress installation is another result of the necessary tasks needed to keep a website noticed online.

Why I am Happy about the changes

I am glad though to get the chance to demonstrate my skills as a website designer, so this website will now become a sample site for you to see the sort of thing I could do for you and your business, or equally I could teach you how to do yourself.

This means that I will have to stick to the very rules that I will be applying to any website that I build for your business.

But it will give me the perfect opportunity to show you how to link posts and pages, how to do parent pages and more.
